IR-4 Minor Use Biopesticide Regulatory Assistance Form
IR-4 provides assistance in navigating the EPA registration process for public sector researchers and some small businesses. This only applies to new active ingredients. In order for IR-4 to consider a project we need a public sector scientist or grower representative that is familiar with the product submit a request.

The request consists of 3 parts:

  1) Complete the form below
  2) Write a letter explaining why the product is needed and why it is in the public interest for IR-4 to assist in the registration process
  3) Supply efficacy data showing activity on the pest that needs to be controlled

Generally after a completed package is received it will take 2-4 weeks in order for the request to be reviewed.

If you submit incorrect information or need to modify your request, please contact IR-4 personnel Michael Braverman at (732) 932-9575 ext. 4610 or e-mail Michael Braverman or contact IR-4 personnel William Barney at (732) 932-9575 ext. 4603 or e-mail William Barney.

Important: The more information we received on this form, the more quickly we can assist with EPA registration.
